When I was young, I had a dream
That I would find someone who met my standards
But as I grew, I finally learned
That life is better off without the answers
When I was 17, my favorite kind of films
Were all the ones where love was found
But then the movie ends
So here we are, four years so far
The spark is over but the flame’s just started
I know it seems longer than that
We’re still connected even when we’re parted
When I turned 22, I knew that it was you
Regardless of the current trends
But then the wedding ends
I’m still in love with you and the things you do
Drive me crazy
Oh, I can’t survive without you baby
Time only makes us strong as we go along
Here together
Oh it’s us against the world forever
Then after 22, I’m still in love with you
Regardless of the current trends
We’ll be together till the end

It may not be a full-fledged LP, but All Delighted People is probably my favourite of Sufjan's works. Without an overaching album theme to tie the songs together, it felt like Sufjan was free to experiment on each track and give them their own unique sound. And because of that (and Sufjan's talent), every track on there is a standout track. Angkasawan
Recorded in a shipping container, the Australian artist's quirky second album is a love letter to 70’s classic rock, folk, and psychedelia. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 15, 2023
